• fake との違い

  fake は日常的で広い意味の「偽物」。counterfeit は特に、本物に見せかけてだます目的で作られた違法な偽造品に使われやすい。counterfeit money、counterfeit goods、counterfeit documents のように使う。

• ブランド品・紙幣・書類によく使う

  counterfeit は bags、watches、money、bills、passports、tickets、medicine など、本物であることが重要な物とよく結びつく。

よくある間違い
