together
一緒に 2人以上の人や物が同じ場所にいたり、同じ行動をしたりすることを表します。
協力して、力を合わせて 人々が同じ目的のために協力することを表します。work together や build together のようによく使います。
合わせて、まとめて 複数の物や数を1つにまとめる、または合計するという意味です。

使い方

together と with の違い
together は「一緒に」という状態や行動のまとまりを表す副詞です。with は「〜と一緒に」の「〜と」を示す前置詞です。例: We studied together. / I studied with Ken.

together with は少し硬め
together with は「〜とともに」という意味で、文章や少し改まった場面で使われます。会話では with や together のほうが自然なことが多いです。

形容詞の together はくだけた表現
人について She is together. と言うと「落ち着いていて、しっかりしている」という意味になります。ただし日常会話的で、フォーマルな文章では well-organized や composed が無難です。
よくある間違い

誤: I went together my friend.
正: I went with my friend. / My friend and I went together.
together は副詞なので、直後に名詞を置いて「〜と」の意味にはできません。「〜と」は with を使います。

discuss は他動詞なので、目的語の前に about は不要です。together は文の最後に置くと自然です。

主語の中心は The manager なので、動詞は単数の is になります。together with two assistants は追加情報です。
