  • weather と climate の違い

    weather は今日・明日など短い期間の天気を指します。climate はある地域の長期的な気候を指します。例: Today's weather is cold. / Japan has a humid climate in summer.

  • the weather と言うことが多い

    一般的に『天気』と言うときは the weather がよく使われます。例: How is the weather? / The weather is nice today.

  • 動詞 weather は比喩でも使う

    weather a storm は直訳では『嵐を乗り切る』ですが、実際には『困難な状況を乗り切る』という比喩表現としてよく使われます。
