other と another の違い
another は「もう一つの、別の」という意味で、基本的に単数の数えられる名詞に使う。other は複数名詞や数えられない名詞に使いやすい。例: another question（一つ別の質問）、other questions（ほかの質問）。

the other は「もう一方」
2つのうち残りの1つを指すときは the other を使う。例: one hand and the other hand（一方の手ともう一方の手）。

others と other の違い
other は名詞の前に置く。others は名詞なしで「ほかの人たち・もの」を表す。例: other people は自然だが、others people は誤り。

other than は「〜以外に」「〜を除いて」という表現。例: other than coffee は「コーヒー以外に」。
