まっすぐに、一直線に 回り道をせず、目的の場所や方向へまっすぐ進むことを表します。
すぐに、直ちに あることが終わった後、時間をおかずに次のことをする場合に使います。

使い方

directlyとdirectの違い
directlyは副詞で、「直接に」「すぐに」という意味で動詞や位置を説明します。directは主に形容詞で「直接の」という意味です。例: a direct answer（直接の答え）、answer directly（直接答える）。

「すぐに」の意味では位置に注意
went directly homeのように、動詞の後ろに置くと自然です。I directly went homeも通じる場合はありますが、強調が不自然に聞こえることがあります。

directly toの使い方
場所や相手に向かう場合はdirectly toをよく使います。ただしcontactは他動詞なので、contact me directlyと言い、contact to me directlyとは言いません。
