• committee は数えられる名詞

  one committee, two committees のように数えられます。特定の委員会を言うときは the committee、1つの委員会を初めて言うときは a committee を使います。

• 「委員会に所属している」は on a committee

  英語では『委員会の中にいる』という感覚でも、通常は in a committee ではなく on a committee と言います。例: She serves on the finance committee.
