同時に起こる、重なる 2つ以上の出来事や予定が、同じ時間や同じ日に起こること。多くの場合、coincide with の形で使います。

「〜と重なる」「〜と一致する」と言うときは、ふつう coincide with を使います。coincide to や coincide at は一般的ではありません。

happen は単に「起こる」という意味ですが、coincide は「別のことと同じ時に起こる」「一致する」という関係を表します。
