assurance と insurance の違い
assurance は「安心させる保証・確約」や「自信」を表します。insurance は主に「保険」という制度や契約を表します。ただしイギリス英語では life assurance「生命保険」も使われます。

「〜という保証」は assurance that 主語＋動詞 の形でよく使います。例: an assurance that the work will be finished「仕事が終わるという保証」。
