使い方

• 基本は不可算名詞

  ownership はふつう数えられない名詞として使います。『所有権』全般を表すので、通常は an ownership とは言いません。

• take ownership of の意味

  take ownership of は、物を法的に所有する意味にも使えますが、仕事では『責任を持って引き受ける』『当事者意識を持つ』という意味でよく使われます。

• ownership of の形が多い

  何を所有しているかを言うときは ownership of the house や ownership of the company のように of を使うのが自然です。

よくある間違い

• 誤: He has an ownership of the apartment.

  正: He has ownership of the apartment.

  ownership はふつう不可算名詞なので、一般的には an を付けません。
