• crowd と people の違い

  people は単に「人々」を表す広い語です。crowd は「たくさんの人が同じ場所に集まっている」というイメージが強く、混雑感を含むことがあります。

• crowded は形容詞

  「混んでいる」は crowd ではなく crowded を使います。例: The train is crowded.（電車は混んでいる。）

• follow the crowd

  follow the crowd は「周りに流される」「みんなと同じことをする」という意味の表現です。

よくある間違い

• 誤: The train is crowd.

  正: The train is crowded.

  「混んでいる」は形容詞 crowded を使います。crowd は名詞または動詞です。
