文通、やり取り、通信 手紙やメールなどで情報を送り合うこと。少し改まった表現で、ビジネスや公的な場面でもよく使われます。
手紙、メール、通信文 人や会社の間で送られた手紙、メール、書類などをまとめて指します。通常は不可算名詞として使います。
一致、対応、類似 2つの物事の間に、内容・形・関係などが合っていることや似ていることを表します。

correspondence は「やり取り」や「通信文全体」を表すとき、通常は不可算名詞です。a correspondence とはあまり言わず、letters や emails のように具体的な数を数える語とは使い方が違います。
