British spelling と American spelling
catalogue は主にイギリス英語のつづりです。アメリカ英語では catalog が一般的です。ただし、どちらも意味はほぼ同じです。

名詞では catalogue of がよく使われる
『〜の一覧』と言うときは a catalogue of errors（ミスの一覧）、a catalogue of products（商品のカタログ）のように of をよく使います。

動詞は整理して記録する意味
catalogue は単に『見る』ではなく、資料や物を分類して記録するという意味です。図書館、博物館、データ管理などでよく使われます。
