superior は more superior than ではなく、普通は superior to を使います。例: This product is superior to the old one.「この製品は古いものより優れている。」

superior は better よりフォーマルで、品質・能力・地位などを評価するときによく使います。日常会話では better のほうが自然な場合も多いです。

名詞では「上司」
a superior は「自分より地位が上の人」という意味です。ただし少しかたいので、普通の会話では my boss や my manager がよく使われます。
