使い方

summon は call よりかたい語で、権限のある人が相手に来るよう求める感じがあります。友達を気軽に呼ぶ場合は call や ask someone to come の方が自然です。

「〜する勇気を奮い起こす」は summon the courage to do が定番表現です。summon up the courage to do も使われます。
