印刷する、プリントする コンピューターや印刷機を使って、文字・画像・文書などを紙に出すこと。
出版する、掲載する 本・新聞・雑誌などに文章や写真を載せて、多くの人が読めるようにすること。
活字体で書く 筆記体ではなく、一文字ずつはっきり分けて書くこと。フォームや申込書でよく使われます。

文書を紙に出す意味では print だけで十分です。print out は「紙に出して手元に得る」という感じを少し強めます。例: I printed the ticket. / I printed out the ticket.

the print は「印刷された文字」、a print は「写真や版画のプリント」、a flower print は「花柄」のように使われます。

よくある間違い
