  • obedience to の形が多い

    何に従うのかを言うときは obedience to rules、obedience to the law、obedience to authority のように to を使います。

  • 不可算名詞として使うことが多い

    obedience は通常、数えられない名詞です。基本的には an obedience や obediences とは言いません。

  • よい意味にも悪い意味にもなる

    子どもや犬のしつけではよい意味で使われますが、権力への服従を表す文脈では、自由がない印象を与えることもあります。
