使い方

「目的」と混同しない
destination は基本的に「向かう場所」です。日本語の「目的」が「理由・目標」を意味する場合は purpose や goal を使います。

arrive at と reach の使い分け
「目的地に着く」は reach the destination または arrive at the destination と言います。arrive to the destination は一般的には不自然です。

形容詞のようにも使われる
destination address（宛先住所）や destination airport（目的地の空港）のように、名詞の前に置いて「目的地の」「宛先の」という意味を表すことがあります。
よくある間違い

destinare : 定める、決める、向ける
