前へ、先へ 人や物が前の方向へ進むことを表す古め・硬めの言い方です。現代英語では主に文学的な表現や決まった言い回しで使われます。
外へ、表へ 中にあったものが外に出る、または見える状態になることを表します。bring forth や come forth などの形でよく使われます。
これ以後、今後 ある時点から先を指します。from this day forth のような決まった表現で使われます。

使い方

forth は少し古め・硬め
forth は「前へ」「外へ」という意味ですが、日常会話では forward, out, away などのほうが普通です。ただし and so forth, back and forth, put forth, set forth などの表現では今でもよく使われます。

forth と fourth の違い
forth は「前へ・外へ」を表す副詞です。fourth は「4番目の」という意味の形容詞・名詞で、つづりに u が入ります。発音は多くの場合ほぼ同じなので、書くときに注意が必要です。
