  形容詞

  建物・町・物などが、特定の場所にあることを表します。多くの場合、be situated in/near/on などの形で使います。

• be situated の形でよく使う

  situated は形容詞として使われることが多く、The hotel is situated near the beach. のように be 動詞と一緒に使うのが自然です。

• located より少し硬め

  situated は located と近い意味ですが、案内文・説明文・不動産情報などでややフォーマルに聞こえます。日常会話では located や is near もよく使われます。

• well situated to do

  well situated to do は「〜するのに有利な立場にある」という意味です。場所だけでなく、条件・環境・人脈などが整っている場合に使えます。

  正: The hotel is situated near the station.
