使い方

• 数えられない名詞として使う

  moisture は基本的に不可算名詞です。普通は a moisture や many moistures とは言いません。some moisture, a lot of moisture, too much moisture のように使います。

• humidity との違い

  humidity は主に『空気中の湿度』を表します。moisture は空気だけでなく、土、服、食べ物、肌などに含まれる『水分・湿気』にも使えます。

よくある間違い

• 誤: There is a moisture on the wall.

  正: There is moisture on the wall.

  moisture はふつう不可算名詞なので、a を付けません。
