    interrogate は厳しく、長く、圧力をかけて質問する感じがあります。普通に質問する場合は ask や question を使います。

  • 比喩的な使い方

    interrogate an idea、interrogate evidence のように、人ではなく考えや証拠を「深く問い直す」意味でも使われます。学術的な響きがあります。
