ぎりぎり間に合って 遅れそうだったり、危ない状況だったりしたが、最後の瞬間に間に合うことを表す表現です。日本語の「間一髪で」「すんでのところで」に近いです。
危機一髪で、間一髪で 事故・失敗・危険などを、ほんの少しの差で避けたときにも使います。単に時間に間に合うだけでなく、「もう少しで大変なことになった」という緊張感があります。
