    duration は、出来事そのものではなく「どれくらい続くか」という長さに焦点があります。例えば the duration of the movie は「映画の上映時間」です。

  • during との違い

    duration は名詞で「期間・継続時間」、during は前置詞で「〜の間に」です。The duration of the course is six weeks. は正しいですが、during を名詞のようには使えません。
