dew は空から降る rain ではなく、冷えた表面に空気中の水分がついてできる水滴です。日本語では「露が降りる」と言いますが、英語では dew forms や dew is on the grass のように言うことが多いです。

dew はふつう a dew や dews とは言いません。水滴を数えたいときは a drop of dew、drops of dew と言います。
