使い方

• collection of の後は複数名詞が多い

  「〜の集まり」と言うときは a collection of stamps, a collection of photos のように使います。collection 自体は単数名詞なので、動詞はふつう単数扱いです。例: A collection of photos is on the table.

• collect と collection の違い

  collect は「集める」という動詞、collection は「集めたもの」または「集めること」という名詞です。例: I collect coins. / I have a coin collection.

• ごみ回収にも使える
