後ろは名詞か動名詞

capable of の後には名詞や -ing 形を置く。capable of do とは言わない。
able to より少し硬い

be able to よりやや改まった表現で、能力や可能性を評価するときによく使う。

よくある間違い

正: She is capable of speaking French.

capable の後ろは to ではなく of + 動名詞。
