cannon

大砲、砲 昔の城や船、または軍隊で使われる、重い弾を遠くへ撃つ大きな武器。現代の軍事用の大型の砲にも使われます。
強力な発射装置 武器ではなくても、ボールや水などを勢いよく飛ばす装置を比喩的に cannon と呼ぶことがあります。
