for を使う

be responsible for の後に、責任を持つ対象や原因となったことを置きます。
担当と原因の両方

人が主語なら『担当している』、物事が主語なら『原因である』という意味になることが多いです。

よくある間違い

誤: I am responsible of this task.

正: I am responsible for this task.

responsible の後は of ではなく for を使います。
誤: I responsible for the tickets.

正: I am responsible for the tickets.

responsible は形容詞なので be 動詞が必要です。
誤: Rain was responsible to the delay.

正: Rain was responsible for the delay.

原因を表す場合も for を使います。
