• 名詞ではふつう the を付ける

  大西洋を意味する名詞として使うときは、通常 the Atlantic または the Atlantic Ocean と言います。単に Atlantic だけで使うことは見出しや固有名詞以外では少なめです。

• 形容詞では冠詞を付けない
