  urbanization 自体が直接「建物を作る」と言うより、「建物の建設につながる」と表す方が自然です。

• 誤: Japan has many urbanizations.

  正: Japan has experienced significant urbanization.

  urbanization は通常不可算名詞なので many urbanizations とはあまり言いません。「大きな都市化を経験した」は has experienced significant urbanization が自然です。
