  • 国による意味の違い

    アメリカ英語では、lemonade はふつうレモン汁・水・砂糖で作る炭酸なしの飲み物です。イギリス英語では、炭酸入りのレモン味ソーダを指すことも多いので、必要なら still lemonade（炭酸なし）や sparkling/fizzy lemonade（炭酸入り）と言うと明確です。

  • 数え方

    飲み物そのものは uncountable noun として lemonade と言いますが、注文では a lemonade が「レモネード1杯・1本」の意味で自然に使われます。

よくある間違い

  • 誤: I drank two lemonades at home.

    正: I drank two glasses of lemonade at home.

    飲んだ量をはっきり言うときは two glasses of lemonade のように容器や量で表すと自然です。店で注文する場合は two lemonades も使えます。

  • 誤: This lemonade is very sour taste.
