使い方

• intelligently と smartly

  intelligently は「知性や理解を使って」という意味が強く、少しかたい表現です。smartly も「賢く」という意味で使えますが、より会話的で、服装が「きちんとしている」という意味にもなります。

• 行動や方法を説明する副詞

  intelligently は answer, discuss, act, plan, use, respond などの動詞とよく使われます。「何をしたか」より「どのようにしたか」を説明します。

  speak のような動詞を説明するときは副詞 intelligently が必要です。
