基本は不可算名詞だが、a vivid imagination は自然
imagination は能力を表すとき、ふつう不可算名詞として使います。ただし「豊かな想像力」のように種類・性質を表すときは a vivid imagination や a strong imagination のように冠詞を付けることがあります。

imagination は頭の中で何かを思い描く力です。creativity はその想像を使って新しいものを作り出す力を強く表します。芸術や仕事の成果に関係するときは creativity がよく使われます。
