備え付けの、備わっている 家具だけでなく、必要な物・設備・情報などがそろっていることを表します。よく「be furnished with ...（〜が備えられている）」の形で使います。

furnished と unfurnished
furnished は「家具付きの」、unfurnished は「家具なしの」という意味です。賃貸物件の説明でよく使われます。

「〜が備えられている」と言いたいときは、be furnished with ... が自然です。例: The room is furnished with a sofa.（その部屋にはソファが備え付けられている。）

家具以外にも使える
日常では家具について使うことが多いですが、必要な物・情報・設備を「提供する、備える」という意味でも使えます。ただし furnish は provide より少しかための響きがあります。
