使い方

• 普通は the を付ける

  機関名として使うときは、通常 the FBI と言います。例: The FBI arrested the suspect. ただし、FBI agent のように名詞の前で使うときは the を付けません。

• 発音は文字を1つずつ読む

  FBI は単語として読まず、F・B・I を1文字ずつ /ef biː aɪ/ と読みます。最初の音が母音のように始まるため、FBI agent の前は a ではなく an を使います。
