使い方

  • the seventh の形が多い

    順番の中の『7番目のもの』を表す名詞用法では、ふつう the seventh と言います。例: the seventh of May（5月7日）。

  • 日付での使い方

    アメリカ英語では July seventh、イギリス英語では the seventh of July もよく使われます。どちらも『7月7日』という意味です。

  • 7th と同じ意味

    書き言葉や表では seventh を 7th と省略して書くことがあります。読み方は seventh です。
