  • eleven と eleventh の違い

    eleven は数そのものの「11」、eleventh は順番の「11番目」です。例：eleven students は「11人の生徒」、the eleventh student は「11番目の生徒」です。

  • 日付では the eleventh

    「11日」は普通 the eleventh と言います。書くときは June 11 や 11 June のように数字で表すことも多いです。

  • the eleventh hour

    the eleventh hour は「ぎりぎりの時、土壇場」という慣用表現です。実際の11時だけを意味するとは限りません。
