• to の後ろは動詞の原形

  be willing to help, be willing to wait のように、to の後ろには動詞の原形を置きます。

• happy to より条件付きのこともある

  be willing to は「喜んで」だけでなく、「必要ならする意思がある」という少し控えめな意味にもなります。

よくある間違い

• 誤: I willing to help.

  正: I am willing to help.

  willing は形容詞なので be 動詞が必要です。

• 誤: She is willing helping us.

  正: She is willing to help us.

  be willing の後ろは to + 動詞の原形です。
